When someone close to you dies it's a sad and emotional time. It's important to honour their life respectfully; in a way that best reflects them and is meaningful for those who are left behind. Some people may choose to make this ceremony a celebration of life or a gentle goodbye.
My job is to support you to create the ceremony that is just right for your loved one, and for you and your family.
I work closely with your funeral director to guide you through the planning and delivery of the ceremony for your loved one. My commitment is to hold this space for you safely as you say farewell.
I will listen to you carefully to capture the essence and special qualities of your loved one, so that I can write and tell their story faithfully, based on what you share with me. This is your ceremony, personal and unique to your person and your family. You, your family and your friends may wish to participate in the ceremony, and if so, we will talk about how you would like to do this.
I will liaise with you as you decide what feels most comfortable for you. Many people already have an idea of the music and readings they would like, and I am always happy to make suggestions about these and to source them for you.
You may wish to include religious elements or cultural rituals, and we can work together to ensure that these are respectfully included, or you may wish to have a non-religious service – it is purely your family’s choice.
I am appreciative of the many thanks and comments I receive from my families who often describe me as caring, kind, warm, compassionate, calming and professional – and I truly feel it is a privilege to help a family say goodbye to their loved one.

January 9, 2024 at 2:37 pmI just had to leave a review because Pauline was absolutely amazing; right from the first time meeting her, she was so lovely and easy to talk to, she made the whole process smooth and simple which otherwise would have been very hard for us, she quickly responded to our emails, she was just perfect and it wouldn’t have been possible without her. Even now after the funeral of my Dad, I would feel comfortable to message her for any advice as she is just so lovely and always willing to lend a listening ear. I would recommend Pauline to any family or friends looking for a celebrant and if ever we need to plan a funeral again, I will be asking specifically for Pauline.

May 2, 2024 at 8:02 pmHaving never arranged a funeral service before we were quite overwhelmed but as soon as we met Pauline we know we were in safe hands. Her calm friendly manner is soothing and makes it easy to talk about your loved one. She was able to pick up on my dads character and life after we met her and how well she did this certainly showed at the service. We were lucky to have the exact type of celebration of life we wanted led by Pauline. Her reading of the eulogy was perfect you would have thought she had known Dad for years. We had a lot of people at the service and so many of them commented on Pauline and how well she officiated. She made a point of greeting and acknowledging the people we had join by a weblink and our family members in Canada also commented that they thought the celebrant was very good.
Thank you Pauline for helping us celebrate Dads life as we wanted xx

July 21, 2025 at 1:34 pmA Truly Fitting Tribute – Thank You
We cannot thank Pauline enough for the beautiful way she conducted my father-in-law’s funeral. From start to finish, she was absolutely brilliant. She took the time to really listen to us, to understand who he was, and to capture the essence of the man we loved.
She ensured that every word, every moment of the service reflected his life and our wishes perfectly. It felt incredibly personal, not just a ceremony, but a genuine tribute. Her empathy, respect, and warmth towards our whole family was deeply appreciated, and it brought great comfort during such a difficult time.
We are so grateful for the care and attention she put into everything, and I can honestly say we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting send-off. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, she was exceptional.
